Cork Sheet are one of the most widely used agglomerated cork product. The standard size of a cork sheet is 3' x 2' or 3’x3’ and thickness ranges from 0.8 mm to 10 mm (and slabs up to 125 mm). At Bharat Corrub, we also produce cork sheet in roll forms. These cork rolls can be manufactured from 0.8 mm to 6 mm thickness and width of 610 mm or 915 mm and even 1 meter.

Our Anti Vibration Cork Sheet –VIBRASTOP is widely used as Machinery Foundation and Acoustical Insulator.

Machinery foundation:

Continuous running machinery especially generators are generally mounted on VIBRASTOP, which absorbs the vibrations and hence there is little transmission of vibrations to the ground. This is also useful in place where heavy machines like Forge, Power hammers etc are used. The
sudden blows and the repetitive loads are countered by the resilient VIBRASTOP. Thus there is no damage to the foundation floor and hence longer life of the machine. Also less sound is transmitted to the other parts of the building.

Acoustical Insulation:

The sound absorbing properties of cork are used to advantage in large auditorium, lecture halls, concert halls, etc. It has a high coefficient of absorption.
